I guess it frustrates me too because I could have devoted more time in classes that are important, such as pathophysiology, rather than classes that are just wasting my time and money. Barry Fields I’m not opposed to a well-rounded education. but my girls had 4 years of math some dual credit and three years of science some dual credit. Unless they were going into accounting or nursing or something math science related, it really wasn’t necessary for the Snoopy water mirror Christmas sweater to take more science and math. My oldest will graduate in May having a 4.0 all 4 years and top 10% of her class and she will never use majority of things learned from gen ed courses. Chris Harris hah.

No, I’m not. I’ve got great respect for anyone that can figure out all that stuff, but math and science are not my things. When my girls needed help with math, we hired a tutor! Our oldest taught herself calculus in college, but she had phenomenal math HS teachers. I stopped helping within 6th grade. At my college, UT Austin, all students, including engineering and science majors, have to take liberal courses that do nothing with engineering and science because we are required to fulfill global culture, cultural diversity, ethics, etc flags. These classes are meant to indoctrinate students. I couldn’t believe in my eyes when I saw a course named “Race in the age of Trump” or LGBT history. Those classes cost money and waste a lot of students’ time. Students have to pay the Snoopy water mirror Christmas sweater university to be brainwashed with liberal ideologies.
